Health Benefits Resources For EDCOE Employees

The Human Resources Department manages the benefits for the County Office of Education and serves as a resource for all EDCOE employees. As part of our continuing efforts to support and communicate with employees, EDCOE provides additional information and tools to assist in making the best benefits selections for you and your families.

Open Enrollment period for medical benefits changes is August 15 through September 30.
During Open Enrollment you may change from your existing plan to a different plan, enroll eligible dependents that were not previously enrolled, and if you have not previously enrolled in a medical plan, you are eligible to enroll yourself and your eligible dependents.

We are concerned about the rising costs of health insurance premiums.  In order to help minimize the impacts of these rising costs EDCOE has provided employees with benefit workshops and tools in the hopes that they will help with the process of selecting the best plan for themselves and their families. It may be helpful to watch the video for instruction before using the Comparison Tool.
